Some cool machining suppliers pictures:
Heavy text

Although doing some product photography for a metalworking client’s brochure, I pottered around their factory and heavy machinery. I discovered this heavy cast lettering on the front of what Google tells me is an Edwards Besco Hydrofold powered box and pan plate folding machine from between mid-60s to early 70s (either way, older than me!), which folds sheet metal. I like the script-slab mixture lending a bit of detail to big chunk of machinery 🙂
I then found a handful of mid-WWII newspaper ada for F.J. Edwards Ltd and their Besco machinery, which was quite intriguing: www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1940/1940%20-%200330… & www.gracesguide.co.uk/wiki/F._J._Edwards and they had been listed as suppliers to the British aircraft market in the course of Planet War II itself.

’55-’59 GMC DASH / INSTRUMENT PANEL INSERTS.
I hope this assists. Occasionally becoming a GMC owner you feel like the red headed step kid. You usually seem to run across an item Chevy truck suppliers cannot help you with, like GMC emblems, Horn buttons grills, hoods, tail gates, bumper breast/nipples, hub caps, total dash board, radiator support frame, brackets, and what-nots. I did not like my GMC dash/gauge panel coz when I took it to the chrome shop years ago they by no means straightened it out. I looked all over the net and couldn’t discover the original ones. There are new billet ones out there but they are a single piece. Fortunately I went to this guy that has completed chrome perform for me in the pass and he had a guy that fixed mine and my chrome guy rechromed and it looks brand spanking new. If you want to verify out the 1 piece go right here. If you have an old one particular that is beyond help maybe you can use it as a template and have a machine shop plasma reduce a new one particular or water jet or laser/ whatever.
